Christ is seen most clearly when we remain in the background.

Matthew 6:1-6
Beware of practicing your piety before others in order to be seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
"So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms , do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
"And whatever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

When you open your heart to the Savior, He opens your mind to His word.

Psalm 13:1-2

How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I bear pain in my soul, and have sorrow in my heart all day long?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

God is love

God is kind.
God is love.
I pray God to make me feel His kindness, His care and compassion, His love.
I think I am just a beginner in the journey of God's way.
Prayers offered intensely at His feet will surely have positive results.
During the times of trouble when everyone, everything, everywhere seems to be worthless God only will be the beacon of hope.
Prayer need not be requests. Prayer need not be complaints. Prayer need not be a set of wants and needs.
Let the prayer be a means of knowing and experiencing God's love, care and kindness.
God bless....
Let's pray together....

We value the light more fully after we've come through the darkness.

Ephesians 5:8-14
For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light.
Live as children of light - for the fruit of the light is found i all that is good and right and true.
Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly; but everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that becomes visible is light.
Therefore it says,
"Sleeper, awake !
Rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you."

If you must compare yourself with someone, compare yourself with Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:12-18
So if you think you are standing, watch out that you do not fall.
No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone.
God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.
Therefore, my dear friends, flee from the worship of idols.
I speak as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say.
The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ?
The bread that we break, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.
Consider the people of Israel; are not those who eat the sacrifices partners in the altar?
