You must remain completely loyal to the LORD your God.
Although these nations that you are about to dispossess do give heed to soothsayers and diviners, as for you, the LORD your God does not permit you to do so.

You have not come to something that can be touched, a blazing fire, and darkness, and gloom, and a tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that not another word be spoken to them.
(For they could not endure the order that was given, "If even an animal touches the mountain it shall be stoned to death." Indeed so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I tremble with fear.")
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the judge of all and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
See that you do not refuse the one who is speaking; for if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much less will we escape if we reject the one who warns from heaven !

The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

A prayer request......
Ate Chinet is sick.
She is the senior most colleague of mine and is well respected by everyone of us. She has a nice family with cute children,and a wonderful and loving Hubby.
Recently she has been diagnosed with a Uterus problem and is bleeding a lot. She has been advised an operation by the doctor.
We are all sad hearing this and I sincerely request everyone to pray for her.
I am praying a lot for her and I am sure God is kind and will support her at this time of need. God will surely surely cure her and our combined prayers will be heard by Him.
Let's all pray together !

Mark 5:25-34
A Girl Restored to Life and a Woman Healed
Now there was a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years.
She had endured much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had; and she was no better, but rather grew worse. She had heard about Jesus, and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, for she said, If I touch his clothes, I will be made well. Immediately her hemorrhage stopped; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.
Immediately aware that power had gone forth from him, Jesus turned about the crowd and said, "Who touched my clothes?" and his disciples said to him, "You see the crowd pressing in on you; how can you say, 'Who touched me?" He looked all around to see who had done it. But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling, fell down before him, and told him the whole truth. He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease."

Daily Bible reading
1 Timothy 6:17-19
As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty, or to set their hopes of the uncertainty of riches, but rather on God who richly provides us with everything or our enjoyment.
They are to do good, to be rich in God works, generous, and ready to share, thus storing up for themselves the treasure, so that they may take hold of the life that really is life.
